I am right with my logic but perhaps you are not understanding me, but in any case, i don’t think there is an absolute right or wrong answer. You don’t have to prove me wrong for HOW to identify a douchebag, what ticks me off may be different than yours.
I don’t know what you’re trying to get at, but as always, it’s getting pointless!
In a nutshell - I am saying that you can identify someone as a douchebag even if they agree with you. Initially you said that you would not. Later on, you said you would. I understand you perfectly. I’d like you to acknowledge that you changed your mind, instead of proclaiming that you are right. That’s all.
This conversation has not been about Level III, let alone about score distribution, in a LONG time. How about you take this little rivalry offline or to the watercooler section?
This is a case where having the last word doesn’t necessarily mean that you win. Maybe someone smarter than me can draw a parallel between your exchange and a Behavioral Finance concept, but until that happens — please do us (and yourselves) a favor and give it a rest.
My score were very bifurcated as got 3 >70 and 4 50-70 in the morning and only 1 <50 in the afternoon with rest above 70. The interesting thing was the 1 below 50 in the afternoon was in a subject I got above 70 in the morning. I passed and as the joke goes what do you call the person who graduated last in their class in medical school. " A Doctor". That is even more true with a CFA as does not matter if you just passed or your score was high enough that they based the curve on your score since you have the same charter. I likely passed Level II due to doing well on Ethics and it does not matter as still passed the same as did for Level I when I got above 70 on everything. Be happy you just passed as meant you did not over study. When I was a financial advisor they stated anyone who got more than a 85 on the series 7 would never make it as they were one too smart and also spent too much time on things that did not matter.
I still don’t know how you can get “you can identify someone as a douchebag even if they agree with you” out of what i said… you clearly has comprehension problem! (or my english is really bad!)
anyway, i agree with the others, this has nothing to do with CFA program anymore, and i don’t want any part of this. This is going to be my last words, if you have any more to say after this, consider yourself a winner! since we will never see eye to eye on this, it’s like a conversation between Tom Cruise and Brook Shield. (Yes you are Tom in this case)
Thanks for giving me the last word! So… you just realized that this has nothing to do with the CFA program, just as you couldn’t put forth any more arguments? Hmm.
As far as “I still don’t know how you can get “you can identify someone as a douchebag even if they agree with you” out of what i said” … from one of your posts
That’s where I got it from.
EDIT: my bad, the above is when you thought case-by-case works for douchebag evaluation. The post where it doesn’t:
In this example, you do agree with the killer (about music) yet think he is a douchebag anyway.
