The first Scottsboro juries told themselves the same thing. Is that a precedent you want to set? Throw up some accusations and have people blacklisted on the optics? In four or eight years I can virtually guarantee that will be happening to Democratically appointed nominees.
On the contrary - both parties have behaved in an appalling manner - I would like a more fair process than this circus. I don’t have a view on the other accusations - but this lady appeared not only credible, but not remotely an actor.

Unless she’s lying, then it takes whatever the opposite of courage is. How does she appear credible? She said she doesn’t know what year it was, where it was, how she got there or left and can’t name anybody but him. She also claimed it was two people but in therapy notes said it was four and in therapy notes also did not name Kavanaugh although she’s claiming she did. How is that possibly a strong enough testimony to stop a highly politicized SC nomination? It wouldn’t hold up in any court of law and there’s plenty of incentive for this to be a false accusation as well as a high likelihood she’s sincerely incorrect given the amount of clouded details. Meanwhile you have countless of court cases with much more compelling testimonies including the many testimonies attached to the Scottsboro case that were proven false. I mean, the whole liberal nation was rabid over the believability of the Duke case.
