$3,400 on ornate Italian marble to surround the top of my soaking tub, whereas I could’ve gone with perfectly nice porcelain tile for 1/10th of the price.

Of course, you have to calculate in the added resale value. The marble may appreciate.

wasted 275 on pants because “everyone” will be wearing pants. majority of people ended up wearing jeans…
