I have an idea that these BIG BOOKS are not meant to read by finance guys, may be I am wrong. Anyway, I am interested. Do you think these are books are reasonably appreciable or written legibly for the people of different academic orientation?

I read a similar stuff by JOHN TRAIN …" Money Masters of our time " was a very good read
Financial Darwanism- touche’, for real!! It’s by Leo Tilman, I believe. It’s about the financial fiasco, how we got there, and how banks (and shadow banks) should use a risk adjusted balance sheet model to prevent excessive risk taking in relation to returns, which is what they did. It’s rather chunky, so cleanse your CFA tarnished mental palate with some light summer reading first…

Watch reality tv. Confessions of an Economic Hitman is very good. I’ve read about an hour into it and I’m captured.

I dont know what is your definition of " same " On is a biographical sketch hovering around Soloman Brothers ( tranning classes, trading floor etc) and start of products like MBS and Junk Bonds…its more of real story Black Swan is an academic piece …a doctorine around fat-tails…it only starts with 87 crash…but thats it…
