This was awful, I am still traumatized by seeing the linking to l3 that weekend and hoping it was just a glitch.

I didn’t know that today is August 19… Wow…they graded all L3, decided MPS and entered grades in the system in 9 days…awasome… This might become the longest thread this month…

This logic did work in Jun 2008 when I was a L2 candidate. However, CFAI seems to have fix the bug in Dec 2008. My friend told me the entire “CFA Program” section disappeared 1-2 days before the result was released.
This is quite possibly the worst AF thread I’ve ever been part of, at least for me. I remember that weekend and the days leading up to the results coming out, hoping, praying that the whole thing wasn’t indicative of the results. But like I had said in an earlier post, it was. Man I was not happy while this was going on, but got sucked in and ended up sending a pretty unflattering email to them regarding their handling of the whole thing. I’m sure that weekend wasn’t one of CFAI’s prouder moments.
A good piece of advice: Don’t look at AF of CFAinstitute the last week before the results

It happened with me too last year. People who passed last year saw L3 link and I didn’t. This is pretty stupid work by their IT team. (Outsourced to India?)

Given that asians are good in the math/science/IT field, I suspect that the CFAI did not outsource and hired an all American IT team.
