Losing weight goal with 0 exercise

^ Actually your input made sense with some literature I studied a while ago.

The maximum lazy program probably involves some exercise. Since you are controlling variables with marginally decreasing efficacy and increasing difficulty, it makes sense to shift some effort to the underutilized input, that is physical activity.

It is believed that drinking the honey and lemon water mixture every morning on an empty stomach boosts metabolism which helps you lose weight. But this miracle drink does a lot more than speed up weight loss.

Buy Honey Tomorrrow…

this is interesting

sorry I misspoke (mistyped?) meant to say 100 Grams of carbs per day which would equal 400 calories.

Eat less. Move more. Such a disservice to mankind to complicate the matter. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/214753/soso-so-good-interview http://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-lose-weight-eating-only-mcdonalds-2015-10

The diet I laid out naturally leads you to eat less in a sustainable way because it helps your body re-learn how to burn fat for energy. Sorry but “eat less” only works for so long if what you eat is crap or loaded with carbs. It’s impossible to maintain. There are people who eat high carb and do a lot of cardio to keep weight down (they’re called skinny fat because they aren’t actually healthy). That lasts only until their joints start to break down, then they quit working out and just become fat fat.

Impossible to maintain? What are you talking about? I eat nothing but pizza, ruebens, quesadillas, taco bell, and the occasional western omelet all supplemented with 3 ounces of ground flaxseed. I’ve been right around 185#s for years. I just make sure I keep my calories in check. All is good. Blood work is phenomenal and I feel great. What’s the problem?

I’m guessing you’re under 35.

^Nope You don’t think a fat person’s biggest problem is overeating? I have some ocean front property for you in Arizona.

Turdy has the best advice on here by far, but he’s fighting an uphill battle. I gave up that battle a long time ago after i told a fat italian chick to cut carbs at work and i got a call from HR.

anyway, good luck itera.

i’m telling you it’s impossible to avoid over eating with a carb heavy/processed food diet for an extended period of time. the glycemic roller coaster kills you.

My guess is you are in the process of replacing muscle with fat so you are maintaining weight but are slowly turning into a bag of shit. were you an ahtlete back in the day? probably. you were probably really fit at some point so your markers still look good even though you eat crap. that doesn’t last forever and you’ll eventually start to gain weight consistently as the muscle atrophy is taken over by consistently adding stored fat to your body.

or maybe you defy the laws of biology.

^Should a fat person eat less? Are CO2 emissions bad for the human race?..Hint: These aren’t hard questions. Oh, my muscle tone is better than ever. Thanks.

Weren’t you complaining about being fat and/or shamed by shorter jacked dudes just a few weeks ago?

i don’t mean to attack you but I just think it’s a bad idea to assume that your current diet will serve you well your entire life. even if you have a great workout program and a great physique today, the inflammation you’re causing (sugar, grains, basically any processed food) in your joints will very likely force you to the sidelines earlier in life than you would like and the bulge will begin.

edit…not only that. a poor diet hinders your performance now in ways that you may not see because it just seems normal. low energy, lower cognitive function, more susceptible to sickness, etc. it hits people in different ways, but there is just no disputing that sugar, grains (some more than others), processed foods, reduce human health.

if you want to lose weight, cut off any food after 8 pm. F that ketogenic diet. You will have zero energy and not be able to work out. My boy did the diet, lost about 30 pounds in 3 months and looks like a shriveled up old man now.

ketogenic would require restricting carbs to below 100 grams per day, which i don’t think is advisable on an ongoing basis, although there is plenty of evidence that it is very beneficial over shorter durations. Really you can get away with about 125 grams and still lose weight pretty effortlessly. if you want to maintain weight, you can go as high as 150 grams.

the math is simple – set your desired carb range. then calculate how many total calories and protein you need to maintain or increase body muscle mass as desired. Then calculate a desired calorie deficit if you want to lose body fat and the fat count falls out of the equation. Also important to realize the macro counts are weekly target avrerages. you don’t have to hit them every day and you likely won’t, especially if you are exercising with any intensity. Your body will naturally crave more carbs when you are glycogen depleted after a workout. same for protein cravings after a good strength workout.

The whole idea is to eliminate the blood sugar roller coaster from too many carbs/sugar so you become more in tune with your body’s natural signals for nutritional needs. The body and mind are very powerful in this respect. We have a tremendous ability to intuitively eat what our body needs once we eliminate the blood sugar roller coaster. It’s actually a pretty fucking amazing feeling when you become in tune with it. like you have complete control.

Ghibli, is your lack of weight gain brought about by diarrheal dehydration resulting from your Taco Bell diet?

Seriously. Guy’s insides must be nothing but mud. I actually recoiled in disgust reading his post.

you dont have to exercise but it helps a lot.i lose/gain pretty fast at will. was 188 when i took exam. now at 182. targeting 170 by july 15 for a vegas trip. and 155 by october. i feel it’s better to shock your body with intense work outs and a healthy diet. then once you hit your target weight. maintenance by eating healthy is all you need.

as people mentioned, if you just eat less or eat healthy, you will just lose muscle and lower metabolism. sure you’ll lose weight, but it’ll be slower plus exercises incentivizes you not to cheat as much cuz then you’ll feel you wasted time working out.

in terms of diet. i just go to costco. i eat 3 greek yogurts a day (protein). 3 oranges or apples a day (cheat sweets). salmon and spinich (fiber and protein) for dinner. olive garden vinagrette. salt and pepper that spinach. sunday to thursday i use seaweed or beef jerky as a snack. i have a cheat meal at work cuz its a free, usually some form of steak, chicken, pasta, rice, greens. i usually have about 5+ seperate meals a day.

in terms of exercise. i run 5 miles minimum a day. some will say this is too much running. use an elliptical. it’ll help. i dedicate burning a minimum of 600 calories. i just watch a show on netflix or amazon while working out. on the weekends, i measure my workout effectiveness in bball in terms of my endurance/performance and ability to pull chicks when i go clubbin. working out will make you excessively hungry, so as a rule i can eat as much spinach as possible.
