^This is like a religion for you. You’re delusional. Tell the fat person to eat more and move less and see how that works out. Run a study. Do nothing but cut a fat persons calories by 20% and compare to a control group. See what happens. Do some blood work. Take blood pressure. See who lives longer. See who has fewer health problems. If you ever would like to lose a few 100k, we can set up a contest.
This is partially true. I suppose it depends to what extent you use them. On one hand, if you want opiods to have the desired efffect (to get high) you should eat as little as possible, so there’s that incentive. On the other, if you’re not use to them, you’ll likely get nauseous.
The really bad side effect, and what I believe you’re hinting at, is constipation. That really sucks and it’s not the kind that ex-lax will take care of either. All the weight you’re losing is just sitting in your bowels. Then you go off them for a couple days and wreck your toilet. That’s when you really need a bidet.
^ Hmmm, maybe I should market the Oxy Squared Diet Plan. Take oxycodone to lose weight (and feel groovy) and then oxy powder pills to clear out your system.
Sure, it’s better to eat healthy than to not eat healthy. But for the vast majority of fat people (myself included), the simple solution is to eat less of whatever it is you’re eating.
Going on a Navy SEAL diet & exercise regimen is good, but it’s overkill for most people who just want to shed the pounds and get back to their goal weight.
This thread should have ended pages ago. TF is correctly promoting a healthy eating lifestyle. However, that wasn’t the point of this thread. itera wanted to know how to lose weight without working out. We cleared that up a long time ago. Eat fewer calories than you burn. You will lose weight. It’s a scientific fact. End of thread.
Now, if someone wants to start a thread on how to build a healthy dietary plan, have at it. Otherwise, let’s get back to talking about GoT.
I received Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) several years ago when I had my wisdom teeth removed. I threw them away when I realized I was still taking them even when I had almost no pain.
The important aspect of losing weight is not to lose body elasiticity. My former boss was very handsome but overweight. Last year he lost around 20-30 pounds drastically ( i dont know what exactly he did but it wasn’t excercise for sure). His face skin kindof drooped and lost the charm he used to have
Come on, live a little. It’s not like you were going to start shooting heroin between your toes when you ran out. Unless that was your plan. Then you probably did the right thing.
It must suck to put in all that effort and get over the whole mindfeck that is weight loss and then end up probably looking worse than you started, and this time there’s nothing you can do about it.
Sadly this is how a lot of people get going down the wrong path. It’s kind of an epidemic. I’m glad you were able to hit the OFF switch but others aren’t so fortunate.
Ever seen Trainspotting? I’m like that dude that can quit at any time. Food, alcohol, drugs (though, to be clear, I’ve never engaged the hard stuff)…whatever. Never had a problem going cold turkey anything.
Well that’s definitely a good thing to have, however I’d ease up on the “live a little” advice! The opioid issues in Mass (and I’m guessing the rest of the country) are frightening.
To add to this–for most people (myself included), losing weight is, in and of itself, a healthy goal. If I could lose weight by eating double cheeseburgers, full-flavored soda, and glazed donuts, I would gladly do so.
(I’m just trying to lose lard, here. It’s not as if I’m trying out for the Olympics or starting FS in the NFL or anything.)
