Interestingly enough – the protest was (relatively) peaceful yesterday because the police didn’t use the same level of force as during the BLM protests.

Literally – if the police treated BLM the same way as the divorced dads at the Trump rally, there wouldn’t be any BLM protests.

Could you imagine what Tucker would say if Antifa entered the capital building?

Also, most of the BLM protests were incredibly peaceful, you’re just too smooth-brained to look at the aggregate data.

I don’t know about Tucker, but other Trumpsters are saying that it was antifa, disguised as Trump supporters.

Sigh.

It wouldn’t be the first time somebody has done it. Hello, Jussie Smollett!

Wow. One of our mayoral candidates was one of them in the demonstrations. And another crazy person here who I know from social interactions.

“She and other “patriots” knocked down Nancy Pelosi’s door and someone stole the speaker’s gavel.”

She wrote, “We are charging the capital [sic],” and that Mike Pence “betrayed us” by “not being willing to exercise his power”.

(FYI - no–I didn’t vote for her.)

Took Pelosi 60 years to get that office and this joker just shows up and puts his feed on the desk like he owns the place. Disgrace.

You guys think ■■■■ (Terd) got some air time yesterday on national broadcast?

True, it was peaceful. Other than the full assault and breach of the capitol infrastructure, the rushing of Congress men and women to the bowls of secrecy, the exploitation of historical property, and that one person shot dead. But yea, it was a relatively peaceful democratic demonstration of freedom.

I’ll take 2:1 that terd was the guy wearing the fuzzy ears and the coked out eyes. Side bet that HP was the guy in Pelosi’s office taking the selfie.

This her? Jenny Cudd from Midland? Hope she’s not one of your clients.

^ she’s not. I put her squarely in Camp Crazy

Apparently a can of Axe body spray was found on the capitol grounds following the attack by Trump’s mob, leading to the tweets below.

Meanwhile, acting DHS secretary Chad Wolf implored the President to condemn the violence brought by Trump supporters. Shortly after, Trump withdrew his nomination to be a permanent head of DHS.

MSN - Business Insider: Trump withdraws nomination for acting DHS secretary Chad Wolf, who pushed the president to denounce the violence at the Capitol

apparently one of the rioters was dumb enough to wear his work badge. He was fired from his job once the company found out that he was one of the rioters.

MSN-Business Insider: A Trump supporter was fired from his job at a Maryland marketing company after he wore his work lanyard to storm the Capitol

this could be a cfa ethics question. whats the answer?

IN my study material, they had a virtually identical case, where a person was an animal-rights activist (or something similar) who got arrested for protest.

The official answer (per Schweser) was that since it wasn’t securities- or work-related, it wasn’t a violation.

That said, if my employee stormed the capitol and tried to do some similar nonsense, I’d fire them. If they’re stupid enough to do that, what will they do to me?

How DARE you call the brave patriots amongst us stupid
