yeah, afternoon session was really weird with some questions… wouldn’t have guesses that we really need to perform a paired-comparison test… Maybe they will let that go for the actual exam. Did 78% in the afternoon mock, so >80 total. Saturday can come…
Took the Schweser Live Mock last Saturday, got 62%/64% AM/PM. The questions made no sense, and were highly confusing. I think the best test of a mock exam is how well it tests your knowledge of the material being tested. Schweser did a bad job there. Just finished the CFA 2011 Mock. Scored 78% in each of AM and PM sessions, weird. Feel a lot better than I did a week ago, and I did about 2 hours of studying total since the Schweser exam. Also glad that I threw my Schweser live mock exam materials in the garbage mid-week. Even the Schweser answer explanations made no sense and often contradicted themselves. The ‘live’ experience was good, and their goodie bag was pretty cool too, though…I guess it’s not all bad.
Does anyone know if the Schweser Live mock has the same questions as the online one? Vedder13, it’s reassuring to hear your experience. I did the online mock today from Schweser - scored 60% for both sessions and felt so discouraged I couldn’t even review my answers after. I’ll hopefully get to that later this evening.

Finally I am done with all the mocks. Here are all scores: Schweser Vol1 65/65 59/73 68/55 Schweser Vol2 68/71 78/68 73/82 CFAI Mock 74/81 Order: s.vol 1 test 1–>s.vol 1 test 2–>s.vol 2 test 1–>s.vol 1 test 3–>CFAI Mock–>s.vol 2 test 2–>s.vol 2 test 3 Avg=70 SD=7.4 I don’t know where I stand. Apparently, I am right on the edge so I should focus more on Ethics.
Hi guys, I am not able to improve my score at all. My scores are always in the range of 100-109 out of 120, no matter how easy or hard I find the exam. I have taken cfa mock exam and schweser practice exam volume 1 ( all 3 tests). Any suggestions? Thanks

Try perhaps Schweser Volume 2, or that Elan Mock 3 - there’s a thread on it and apparently its a challenge.

I found schweser vol 2 easier than vol 1, in fact my scores reflect that. However, my scores of vol 2 would have been biased of improvement as I was continuously revising and improving on my skills. Vol 2 after noon exam later part was pretty hard though.

I found the CFAI mock afternoon SUPER HARD!! way harder then any schweaser exam i have done but surpisingly i did good average between the AM and PM is 70% which i guess is maybe hopefully praying to god enough to pass the actual exam! I really was convinced before marking the afternoon CFAI mock that i would get 40% but i actually got just under 70% but i found morning super easy…i really dont know what to think! really starrting to stree
Also did anyone find that in the CFAI mock exam they put info in there that you didnt need to use to answer the question? i guess it was put in there to confuse you? i found this was done alot to test if you know ur stuff? none of the schweaser exams put in useless info in their mock exams! its kinda fustrating

agulani, I’ve noticed that too. Like with that paired-comparison test question - it took me awhile to figure out, that you don’t need the data to find the right answer (two of the possible answers just didn’t make sense).

Getting really worried now! Starting to review the mock tomorrow.
Hi guys, I’m a L2 candidate. Just wanna say that you shouldn’t be discouraged by your mock score. In June 2010, the mock was considerably harder than the real exam. I believe my real score should be higher than my mock score around 10%. If you get around 75%+ in mock, you should be fine.
I scored 83% on the CFA AM mock and 73 on the CFA PM mock. In my opinion the PM mock was considerably more difficult.
