Yes the asset allocation was exactly the same as the corner portfolios. Had a nightmare here due to a lack of time (I didn’t answer the questions in order)
wat was the attribution q all about
attribution was on two different bond funds and the candidate had to work out whether they were adhering to their brief/mandate…where the funds were being successful and where they were failing in delivering on its mandate
let’s keep going with people’s estimates…
AM: 60% PM: 70% Overall: 65%… Good enough to get through?
I would say so. 60% in the morning is a killer.
Crazy to do this! Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > AM: 60% > PM: 70% > > Overall: 65%… > > Good enough to get through? ======================================== no not good enough if the MPS is 70% sorry dude…but we are in the same boat…bloody AM session
Well I get relief just knowing that results are less than two weeks away… Morning was a killer but afternoon was tricky as well. There’s a chance that MPS will be lower than 65%… it’s all based on the quantum of people CFAI wants to pass… pass rate range could be anywhere from 40% to 70%…no one has a clue. Keep the faith and hopefully all of us make it through Good overall thread Apollo

70% would wipe out 90% of people. I know that much.

90% is high Apollo but I reckon that if MPS is 70% then the pass rate is going to be EXTREMELY low… maybe even below 30% A more realistic MPS is between 65% and 70% considering the difficulty of the papers. I personally may not make that grade as well but I think that it is more realistic
i agree…66% MPS is reasonable. 70% as an MPS after I saw last year’s scores (p.s. I am a first timer) is nuts…plain nuts.

The clear message from equity is “expect the worse and don’t be disappointed”
