Why don’t all 3 candidates give us their platform? How do they expect to moderate the board. Is it a power trip for them to take out the big eraser and delete comments or do they have a more laissez faire attitude? Will they try to encourage more discussions by initiating threads? I don’t think it’s a good idea to give any of the 3 a blank check.

Actually, that is a good point. AF probably gets a ton of traffic because of this one guy who obsessively answers all the CFA questions. He does it for free too. If s2000 one day says “hey guys, starting from now, I will only post at s2000CFA.com”, you can bet that all the noobs will head on there…
I think “obsessively” is a bit strong, don’t you? Also, I don’t answer all of the CFA questions: merely a lot of them.
I’ve already contacted CFA Institute: they have strongly advised against me having a url that contains “CFA”.
If having me as a board member will cause problems, please remove me from consideration.

I thought I was joking when I said Blake McCallister had gotten released early for having sex with a BART seat. Judging by his recent absence on this board, it looks like he may actually still be incarcerated.
I don’t think s2000 is annoying. He is very helpful in the CFA discussions and his responses are likely a driver of AF traffic. I believe this to the extent that I think he could start his own website. To clarify my earlier comment, I am not accusing him of plotting to steal AF noobs, even if I think he could.
