Hey Chad and bchad, when does voting begin? How many mods/bods are we electing?
So we have three nominees that have been nominated and accepted or nominated themselves and been seconded:
- itera
- numi
- s2000magician.
I’ve talked to Chad and we had actually been thinking of filling two slots (replacing JDV and BS), but everyone in this list looks like a solid contributor so maybe we just take all three rather than run an election that will end up looking more a contest on who to eliminate. That will also make for better coverage of the forums and a wider variety of views (hopefully) without making the board too bloated.
For now Chad is reaching out to each of them and we will see if this makes sense. I will remain in some capacity but look forward to having less pressure to be going through stuff every day.
No love for Joe2010?
He should change it to Joe2013 just for this campaign.
No one seconded Joe2010 by the closing deadline, though I was impressed to see someone with the confidence to nominate themselves. A bummer.

I second the motion to elect all three. It is a good balance, all are very knowledgeable and great contributors. S2000 can always answer those tough math questions, Numi always has excellent career advice, and Itera always tells you how it is no filter style. All three seem to have a lot of experience.
Any way we can turn this into a Hunger Games type of scenario? My money would be on the guy with the horse.
Just do it after work hours so I can get the video feed. My money’s on itera. Haven’t met any of them, but I get the impression that numi is a little too debonaire and metrosexualish to survive long. S2000 is probably very wily and deceptively strong from breaking horses, but his age would likely catch up with him.
Itera!? The guy who is the master of all things SS ER! He’d be drawing a sensitivity tables in the dirt on how to best catch a rabbit for dinner…meanwhile the rabbit will scamper off leaving Itera frustrated and hungry.
