I’m going to go with India’s cricket team.

Penn State Womens Volleyball is pretty balling too. But for pro sports, Spurs & Pats are hard to argue with

A man born in 1920 would have waited until he was 84 to see his Red Sox finally win a world series. His grandson would have witnessed 3 championships before the age of 20.

With a 95% confidence interval, here is my NFC playoff list:

Giants, Packers, Falcons, Panthers, Cards, Seahawks

Yeah, seems highly unlikely the North or East send more than one team. And the Falcons and Panthers could be all smoke and mirrors. The Giants are going to run through the NFC playoffs aren’t they… fuck me.

I’m starting to see Super Bowl XLVI coming again.

Third times a charm? :frowning:

I swear the Pats should just start sitting Gronk now. Don’t need some Colts safety diving at his knees when it’s 52-9 in the 4th quarter of Sunday’s game. But alas Bill will be Bill.

Don’t worry, the Giants only win SB’s when I give them no chance.

^Nobody gave them a chance in 2007.

In order to have a chance, they needed to beat:

  • the 13-3 Cowboys in Dallas.
  • the13-3 Packers in Green Bay.
  • the undefeated Patriots (who might have been the best team of all time) in the Super Bowl.

That’s exactly my point. I gave them no chance in either 2007 or 2011. I’m actually starting to think that this season is shaping up similarly, and that we could be looking at a repeat of those seasons. The fact that I believe that means it won’t happen.

The Giants team now is totally different than 2007 and 2011. In those years, they were able to dominate the line of scrimmage (both offensive and defensive). This year both are horrendous. I don’t think the added firepower we now have on offense that we didn’t have then is enough to counterbalance that.

That year was just crazy. Giants fell ass backward into the playoffs and then ran the table. Grrrrrrr.

Easy there. Giants are only good enough to win the putrid NFC East. My fool proof system does not predict a SB.

Thank you to the Eagles, Browns and Colts for delivering Dion Lewis to the Patriots doorstep. I haven’t really ever seen a back like this in a Pats uniform before. Can’t believe they got him for nothing.

Anybody care to opine on the undefeated Broncos vs the undefeated Packers?

My .02 - Denver will hold Rdgers to less than 80 yards passing and sack him three times. Meanwhile, Peyton will return to old form and throw for 300+. Denver wins this by at least two td’s.

If Peyton could eliminate the INT’s, I’d give the Broncos the edge. I don’t think he can eliminate the INT’s though because he’s either too prideful or delusional to be a game manager.

The Packers haven’t really blown anyone out but they at least had command of most of their wins. The Broncos… I really don’t know how the hell they won half their games. KC and Cleveland particularly come to mind. Just ridiculous gaffes by their opponents really.

Think your turnover comment is spot on. Packers win by 7-10.

Also interested to see how Cincy fares on the road at Pittsburgh with Roethlisberger back. We could lose two undefeateds this week. (No chance the Colts win on the road at Carolina).

Denver wins this one easy. Resurrection of PFM, he will shred GB’s weak secondary. 30+ points by Denver on Sunday

GB’s offense has been sputtering with all the injuries, but their defense is #1 right now in points allowed. Should be a good game.

we dem boys?
