Haha notice my lack of commenting on the actual game itself? That was intentional.

I wish the Packers had Goskowski for a kicker.

People were so upset when they gave Gost the franchise tag when McCourty was still unsigned. It all works out. It always works out.

lol Belichick is the least stylish man on earth, but he just does him. Respect.

dem boys won with romo back

Word. Respect. If they can lose seven in a row, surely they can win ten in a row. They just have to bump the Panthers off their pedestal.

In other news–until the late game last night, no QB had a 300-yard game. Then both Carson Palmer and Andy Dalton barely squeaked out 300-yarders. Just kinda strange.

Edit - but there were two 200-yard rushers.

Earlier this year the Falcons were 5-0, the Jets 4-1. Yesterday they lost to Matt Hasselbeck and TJ Yates respectively. Revis was torched multiple times by DeAndre Hopkins. Looks like Belichick got that one right too. Hilarious.

^Matt Hasslebeck is still playing? Isn’t he like 50 years old or something?

That was the worst officiated game I’ve ever seen in my life last night. The inadvertent whistle… I mean I don’t want to speculate that Amendola would have gone all the way for 7 but he might have. And then the final two minutes the refs screwed up like 3 different things against the Bills, including robbing them of one final play.

Just an all around disaster of a game that would up lasting nearly 4 hours. The NFL product… yuck.

I didn’t watch most of the game, but I didn’t have a problem with the non-clock-stop on the last play. You have to be going forward when you go out of bounds to stop the clock. The runner was going backwards, so no stopping the clock.

It must have been a pretty bad game, cause mike and mike were talking about it this morning.

funny, “headset” issues in gillette again

Apparently, if somebody hits you, knocks you backwards, and you go out of bounds, the clock keeps running.

If you’re running backwards on your own and go out of bounds, the clock stops.

So the clock should have stopped on the last play. I was wrong in my previous assessment.

And BTW, the opening line on the Panthers @ Cowboys–Cowboys by 1.

Very interesting line… I would take Carolina all day with that line. They have looked very good, and while the Cowboys are a totally different team with Romo I dont see how you can have them favored to beat a 10-0 beast.

There have been leaguewide headset issues all season.

Do you actually know anything about football or just go off Facebook memes/comments?

Heatset issues actually are quite common around the league. They generally only get highlighted by the media when they occur in Gillette.

gotta love jerry jones

Reffing and Lions failures aside, that was one of the most epic throws I’ve ever seen. Not only did it travel like 70 yards in the air, it might have left the Earth’s atmosphere for a minute or two it was so high.

Jeeeeeeez.

Haha heard you on that ltj. I only caught the recap but holy hell Rodgers has a cannon. Love seeing that play work .001% of the time.

I almost turned the game off a few times.

I thought, “There’s no way GB comes back from 20-0.”

Then I thought, “There’s no way GB can have a game-winning drive with 30 seconds, 80 yards, and no timeouts.”

Then I thought, “There’s no way this lateral play is gonna work”, especially after they threw it 30 yards back to the QB. (And I was right–it didn’t work.)

Then I thought, “There’s no way he can throw the ball 65 yards downfield.”

Then I thought, “That ball went so high in the air, there’s no way that the defense didn’t swarm to it.”
