Ive heard that they wanted 2 as LA can only take one of them and they are fine with either. Geoff seems to be the name being floated to LA, so Philly was fine with Wentz & will take Geoff is LA switches their mind.
hahahahhahaha brady what a sucker
^That (the ruling) is the stupidest thing Roger Goodell has done yet. Can he not just let this one go? You donāt even have to admit youāre wrong. Just say āfor the good of the league and to ensure continued cooperation between the Patrots organization and the NFL, we have decided to discontinue our case against Tom Bradyā or some such crap.
Edit - for those who donāt know, an appeals court just overturned the overturned suspension. Brady will now be suspended for the first four games of the season.
^
beautuful. Justice does sometimes get served, even for the Patsies
Yea I would have liked it if the league just dropped it tbh, I think Brady taking it to court to begin with was kind of bad also. Shouldnt be wasting the courts time on sprts crap, its like when congress debated steroids in baseball.
Thats said I read the courts opinion and it makes sense. The whole things a mess, would be nice if the league & brady would come to some sort of settlement
I used to think the same thing, but then I realizeāeven though itās sports, this is a āmanagement vs. laborā issue, which transcends sports and should be taken to court.
Plus, if somebody wanted to take away 25% of my salary for the year, Iād be angry. $3,770 is a lot of money.
lmao, very true point. I like that the court very clearly stated they have no opinion on if Brady is guilty or not. I do see it being a real CBA legal issue the more I read about it. NFLPA seems to want to trash parts of the CBA they dont like.
So now that Brady adds yet another asterisk to a SB victory, this unequivocally confirms Peyton Manning as the greatest QB of all time. The debate was fun while it lasted.
^should brady retire if he has any pride left?

Love knowing our US Senators are working so hard are the real important issues impacting Americans
Greenamn, your boy Ziek a monster
My love affair for Americaās Team notwithstandingā¦
How can somebody trademark the saying, āDo Your Jobā?
āThe issue with the moniker is that the Cowboys really havenāt been relevant as a football team over the past two decades, with just three playoff victories over that span and never reaching a conference championship.ā
āBut the football product has been awful. Theyāve barely won more than 50% of their games over the past twenty years and the only team that better fits the term āmediocreā has been the Chiefs.ā
āSo in other words, the Cowboys are pretty much the Microsoft of the NFL. They havenāt gotten anything right in the past twenty years, but theyāve been in our office spaces for so long that itās too much of a bother to change to a different operating system. The 2015 season was the Cowboys attempt at Windows Vista, Jerry Jones is their version of Clippy, and Jason Witten is absolutely the Microsoft Excel of the league- old, reliable, and the source of a lot of pain in Northeast Corridor.ā
lmao
Oh my god.
Thats it. Just give us the #1 draft pick right now.
Bumpābecause with this post, āThe NFL Threadā ties āIām dead seriousā¦ā with 1,116 posts.
Usually get pretty jacked for the opening Thursday game but this one just doesnāt move the needle. Because Iām a slave to the game Iāll still watch of course, but meh.
Really? Iām looking forward to it. I have a vested interest, of course, but wanting to see the donkeys lose aside, Iād like to see Denverās new offense.
Cam needs redemption.
Greenie, have you seen the movie āTo Hell or High Waterā. It supposedly takes place in Midlands broski.
