NFC East is very good this year, AFC West is also. Not going to argue which is better as its pretty pointless, any team in either of those conferences has the ability to be anyone in the league on the right day.

Cowboys just keep rolling that O-Line is making it almost too easy for Dak & Zeke. Everyone talks about those 2 for MVP which is laughable, the O line deserves it more. The shocking thing is how well that defense is playing, cowboys Offense has been good for years. The defense is what will get them over the hump for a super bowl. Would love a Sean Lee on my team hes a beast

This.

Which is why I got really angry during the draft. They didn’t really do anything to help their already good offense, and didn’t address their horrible defense.

I thought Elliott, while good, was a wasted pick, because they had a good run game last year (once they got McFadden figured out).

In the 2nd round, they took a LB that they knew couldn’t play in 2016, because of a blown knee.

They finall addressed their deteriorating QB situation in the 4th round, with a guy that everybody expected to be a perennial backup.

I didn’t care to learn about any of their other draft picks.

That was my analysis of the Cowboy’s 2016 draft. I should be an NFL scout.

Also, +1 to Justin Tucker’s “smells like updog”.

Nothing to really add here other than I find it amusing Greenie gave the NFC East an extra 0.5 wins from a tie. Literally not a win in anyway, not even half a win. Hence why it gets a third column.

The Redskins have a 6-4-1 record. If you count the tie as half a win and half a loss, their record is 6.5 - 4.5.

6.5 / (6.5 + 4.5) = .591, which is exactly what NFL.com shows as their win %.

And you, LTJ, who gave me so much grief about not knowing NFL tiebreakers, please reference this page about NFL tiebreaking procedures. Pay special attention to the sentence that says, “NOTE: Tie games count as one-half win and one-half loss for both clubs.”

Sometimes the best decisions are the ones that you don’t make i.e. not drafting Johnny Football.

I declare Greenman’s victory over myself.

^^Indeed.

Now if you would only admit the superiority of the great Jason Witten, you would be off of my shit list.

The Eagles are who we thought they were.

The NFC East was in a bubble.

Curious…who do we think the Packers are?

Rodgers torched a defense that gave Matt Ryan trouble. Will be interesting to see if this is a turning point for them

Rodgers > Ryan, the Packers only have one win against a potential playoff team. They could potentially win 3 of the remaining 5 games, but 8 wins probably doesn’t get them into the playoffs.

Now that the numbers are in my favor, I agree with using the power rankings. AFC West is by far the top division.

^Power rankings are not at all objective.

Better than the Eagles.

So let me get this straight…the Cowboys can’t honor slain Dallas Police officers with a small, uniform patch on their jersey (or helmet–can’t remember which), but the NFL will allow individual players to wear designer cleats to promote their “cause”?

I have a hard time understanding the NFL sometimes.

Oh yeah–and 3/4 of the NFC East lost this week, while 3/4 of the AFC West won. So there’s that.

And America’s Team just got flexed to the sunday night game on 12/18. So we get four prime time games in a row.

This kind of stuff happens when the most popular team in the most popular sport also has the best record.

And we have Jason Witten to thank for it.

Is Seattle the best lockdown team in the game right now?
