They won the football game last night.

What game were you watching? Dak Prescott and the whole Cowboys offense looked terrible against a defense that was actually able to penetrate that offensive line and put pressure on the QB. This doesn’t bode well for the Cowboys’ chances in the playoffs.

^I watched a game where Eli lost two fumbles and throw one interception. And when he wasn’t turning the ball over, he was completely missing two other walk-in touchdowns. I saw OBJ let a punt hit his leg. I saw another Giants fumble that they were lucky enough to recover. I saw one of NY’s favorite weapons come back to the field, only to leave after one reception because of a concussion.

And as bad as the Giants were, Dallas was worse. (I’ll let Higgs comment on how bad the Cowboys were.)

^ Eli turning the ball over and special teams miscues are par for the course for the Giants. Shane Vereen is hardly one of their “favorite weapons.” I’ll agree that Dallas was worse, and that was because the Giants didn’t let them get anything going offensively, other than that first drive.

Go Ravens!

I think the 'Boys will benefit from last night. Confidence is obviously a good thing, but I suspect they were becoming a bit over-confident and that would have bitten them hard in the ass in the playoffs. I did think Eli’s INT with about 10 minutes left was going to be the end for the Gmen, but the Boys just didn’t have it last night.

Feel bad for Miami. They got a nice break with the Broncos dropping one to Tennessee (and Denver finishes: NE, OAK, KC, jesus…), they win a thriller in the pouring rain, and… subsequently lose Tannehill to a torn ACL. Bummer.

Rams fired Jeff Fisher who was three days away from becoming the career leader in losses. Got a sweet golden parachute though.

I’ve never been able to figure out how Jeff Fisher has been able to remain an NFL head coach all these years. He’s only had a winning record 6 times but has been nearly continuously employed as a head coach since 1994.

No kidding. Especially in a league that demands you turn it around in one-one and a half seasons max. I’ve never looked into it but I imagine the Rams have an owner who really just cares about cashing the checks that come with being an NFL franchise?

Not to the same scale of losing but the situation in Cincinnati has always amazed me too. Marvin Lewis has been there for-ev-er and has virtually nothing to show for it. Sure they make the playoffs at a decent clip but they’ve never won a game once there and they routinely trot out some of the most undisciplined (read: dirty) teams in the league. The owner just doesn’t care. I’m pretty sure he’s even gone on record to say that.

Mike & Mike talked a lot about how certain teams seem to change coaches every other year, while the Steelers have only had three coaches in 47 years.

When Noll left, his team was 7-9. (Hardly in the bottom of the barrel.) In Cowher’s first year, they went 11-5.

In Cowher’s last year, they were 8-8. In Tomlin’s first year, they went 10-6.

The point I’m trying to make–neither Cowher nor Tomlin are taking over the 2009 Lions or 2017 Browns.

You know, just going based off the eye test, I’m gonna say Tom Brady is better than Drew Brees. 99% confidence.

Sorry STL, now you gotta root for Denver.

Brady was amazing last night. Good game all around but without a healthy Gronk I dont see the Pats winning the SB. Whats the status on his health? Will he be back for the playoffs or is he already planning his next party cruise

Have to admit seeing him throw his little hissy fit on the sideline was amusing though, he isnt scaring anyone hes soft af

He was put on IR a couple weeks back. His season is over.

This will tell you everything you need to know.

You admitted to listening to Mike & Mike. Your season is over too.

^What’s wrong with MIke & MIke?

Normally I just listen to the highlights after the show is over.
