I would add Art Rooney, Wellington Mara, and Al Davis to that list. Jerry Jones has been the GM for 3 SB wins, not a lot of folks can say that.

I believe he was instrumental in bringing the NFL to Fox.

Tony Romo will be released tomorrow.

So, Sweep–it looks lovely he he’s heading to Denver. How does that make you feel? Would you rather he was in Denver or KC?

I’m of the opinion we should draft our next starting QB so I was never in camp Romo. That said, if he goes to Denver he’ll probably become the healthiest, hardiest QB of all-time and lead them to the promise land. That’s just the Chiefs’ luck.

More realistically, I’m fine with him going to Denver. Let them spend money on a guy that’s played - what - 4 games in two seasons or something?

How’s KC treating my boy Laurent Duvernay-Tardif? NFL player + med school…anything else is hacksaw.

Pats loading up for #6. Dwayne Allen and Stephon Gilmore already on board. Just need to resign Hightower.

He got a big ass extension. Another 5 years worth something like $60+mm.

I’m not completely sold on his abilities as a OL, but the guy is an awesome human. Skipped the draft because he was delivering a baby (I think it may have been twins) and the day after he signed his big contract extension he was back doing rounds.

browns paid 16 mil for a 2nd round pick, win win for everyone

Only $20 million of it is guaranteed. These days, when he isn’t at the hospital, he works at the family’s bakery. He actually puts in the hours too.

He might be the only person that would take a pay cut by becoming a doctor.

Yeah, I guess it’s $40mil with $20 guaranteed. At the time (only two weeks ago) it seemed pretty steep. But now that free agency started and the top guards got huge contracts, I think we probably got a good deal on him.

The NFL should really promote LDT more. They’re so concerned about their image, put LDT front and center. Aside from the fact he speaks french, he’s nearly a perfect human.

Eagles finally getting Wentz some people who can catch the damn football. Frees them up to draft Corners & Oline

Wasn’t happy with the Jeffrey signing. It really took the buzz off of the Giants’ signing of Brandon Marshall.

NFC East should be interesting this year. Cowboys are the obvious favorites but Philly & NY with some nice draft additions could definitely challenge them

^ Giants still need a pass rusher and O-line help, but signing Marshall clearly shows they think they can make one last run with Eli. I think Dak will regress a little bit this year.

Romo traded to Houston for their #1 draft pick.

haha nice link, yea saw the date and had a chuckle. Texans are screwed

Funny thing–that article is three years old, and Houston’s QB situation is actually worse now than it was then.

Someone should be willing to give a 4th round pick for him if he’ll agree to redo is contract, no?

I love that Houston had to pay Cleveland to take Osweiler. haha.
