Who has experience in any of these things? Obama had foreign policy or defense experience before becoming President and Commander in Chief? At that level, your job is to stamp approval on things and delegate tasks to people who share your interests and beliefs. Rick Perry is the elected leader of the biggest energy producing state in the US. He must have something going right, even if it is just the ability and willingness to open the door to various interests.
Good comedy. But the fools are the ones that think a brain fart disqualifies you from anything. Pure arrogance. Happens to the best of us. I even recall a politician referring to the intercontinental railroad, saying Abraham Lincoln was the founder of the Republican Party, referring to Navy corpseman, talking about the Austrian language, mentioning the Fifty-seven states, and speaking of the president of Canada. Any idea where this particular politician ended up or went to school?
It’s Obama, I know a couple of those. Lincoln was the first Republican President.
"The Republican Party name was christened in an editorial written by New York newspaper magnate Horace Greeley. Greeley printed in June 1854: “We should not care much whether those thus united (against slavery) were designated ‘Whig,’ ‘Free Democrat’ or something else; though we think some simple name like ‘Republican’ would more fitly designate those who had united to restore the Union to its true mission of champion and promulgator of Liberty rather than propagandist of slavery.”
The elections of 1854 saw the Republicans take Michigan and make advances in many states, but this election was dominated by the emergence of the short-lived American (or ‘Know-Nothing’) Party. By 1855, the Republican Party controlled a majority in the House of Representatives. The new Party decided to hold an organizing convention in Pittsburgh in early 1856, leading up to the Philadelphia convention."
It actually is surprising that at least a few didn’t sue after he left office and amassed a lot of wealth, but I suspect most of Bill’s indiscretions were not entirely unwelcome and it’s not unimaginable to think that any who threatened to sue were discretely paid off.
Ghibli hands down. PA just pisses of the nationalist crowd for the most part but his posts have content.
Ghibli comes in with “I am better than all of you, i have done xyz therefore you should believe me”, if you ask him to explain anything it’s basically “you’re stupid, i dont have the time, its above your paygrade” or some sort of rambling one liner ending with a question mark that makes no sense but presumably he thinks it is so deep that it should give some of us an existential crisis.
