That derivatives item set was ridiculous. I find the wording of the CFAI questions also pretty ridiculous but my marks have been very all over the map. Schweser mocks have ranged from 70% - 82% and the CFA mock crushed me pretty good, finished with a 65. I found the ethics item sets on CFAI siginificantly difficult as well.
Vickycool have you been able to improve your FRA and equity scores since this post? If so, what was your approach?

Yes i am now scoring above 65% in FRA and equity. I purchases elan videos for pension and intercorporate. I also have bought elan video on Residual income and pvt company valuation. I realised these 4 topics are my weakest.
Hey VickyCool, did you feel you got a lot of value out of the Equity videos? I never bothered with them. I got heaps of insight from the FRA stuff so wondering if I should spend the time watching them at this stage.
Clever i found huge value in equity. I was totally astonished by som many tiny details in pvt company valuation. Peter has taught very well. Infact since i have got 50% DISCOUNT at elan i just bought Market relative valuation reading also. Its a 3hr video but i know it will come in the exams
So in total i have bought 5 videos from elan= pension+ intercorporate+ 3 equity readings at a total cost of 75$ approx. I want those 3-4 marks extra , dont want band 10

I think this was an error on CFAI’s part. I happened to know this due to a spoiler on this site.
I won’t have time to watch them all. In order, which had the most benefit for you? (1:Pvt Val,2: MV Rel Val, 3:FCF)?

yeah cindrealla swaps also i forgot to add. Till date i have spent 77.5$ on ELan but its worth it i feel
