FRM? I do not think so! It is time to apply my knowledge and make some reputation for myself in this industry. If I wanted to study endlessly, I will be in academics where studying and research thrives. In our industry, it is more about the application.

same here …,my local society emailed me of an award ceremony slated for November. They wrote that the charter will be officially awarded. Does it mean that we get to have two certificates? One obtained at the ceremony and the other dispatched to us automatically.

My coworker got two last year, I am assuming its the same case for us.

Hey,HELLO…anybody still partying here?? I guess I’m a little late to the party. Yah boy became a CFA charterholder today @ 7:40am est.

This may tie the series finale of LOST for the most anti-climatic ending to a journey ever!

Excuse my ignorance on the issue, but I am curious of the wait for the majority on here. I didn’t get my application in until late october and just got society review approved today. I am still awaiting the “Welcome” email, but the CFAI website updated my name to TopShelf9, CFA within the hour of activating and paying dues.

Why is it that for someone who had the hours approved, passed the final exam, and paid all dues did not get their membership activated until almost a month after scores were released?
