practice exam results - how're you doing?

I don’t think that mock was that simple Nininiya. I got a 65~~~ from what I recall. Been 70-75~ for all 6 PM schweser mocks.

yea… did schweser 2 pm got 70…

mock pm B. i got 55 now huhu… my bad sectiobs were derivative and fixed income…

i never scored above 70 in level 2 and i passed, i scored +65 on level 3 mocks and i failed. i believe it all depends on your strength vs weak areas compared to the material tested on exam day.

Agreed with Bilal. I think there is a factor of luck which is signicative at a level of 1% ^^

Some of my practice tests or mock are at above 80 and some at a high 60, depends of the tested area.

But in the AM session, with conservative marks, I never scored above 60/65… And when I see the results disclosed last year by people of this board, I feel scared. Even if you have good grades on the PM session, you can fail because of low morning!

oh sorry… turned out i miscalculated. had 62 pct in mock B pm. still bad but at least improving from 45 just few days ago. the next 5 days will be HELL

only cfa mock matters

True say! Priority must always be given to CFAI material!

Struggled through the CFAI 2013 AM and ended with a 59%. I missed a lot of points on the first question by including the home in investable assets. I did this because the Schweser tests usually explicitedly say that the home is not included in investable assets. Since the CFAI test did not say this, I assumed it should be included. It was the difference between a 59% and 65% on the test…

Go BigRed…I dont think the points are all nothing on problems like that. If I remember right, that one was like 8 minutes. If you got the rest of the inputs and formula right, but included the house, then give yourself 4 or 5 out of 8. Of course, I could be wrong, I have no idea how they grade these things.

Can you please share the link for CFAI L III AM session exams if they’re available?

The actual 2011, 2012, and 2013 morning sessions are on the CFAI website.

Perhaps even a 6 if everything else was spot on I would say

Schweser Book 2, Exam 3: AM: 73.3%, PM: 78.3%, Total: 75.8% That brings my average over all six Schweser exams to 70.3%. Cutting it close frown

2013 am exam (aka 2014 am mock) CFAI : 51 pct *snifsnif*

More accurately put, none of the mocks matter since it is all about the actual test. )

Been distracted for two weeks now with work and family stuff but I have finally got back on it this weekend and finished up with the practice tests that I have:

Schweser AM avg. for all 6: 74% with on average 56 minutes left over

Schweser PM avg. for all 6: 82% with on average 41 minutes left over

CFA AM (2010-2013) avg: 76% with a low of 72% and on average 35 minutes left over

CFA PM (3 website mocks) avg: 81% with a low of 72% with on average 40 minutes left over

I plan on drilling note cards with what time I have left until test day, hopefully I can make it through my deck about twice (450 +/- cards)

It looks like a pass for you jay.

Just graded full mock exam I took yesterday (past AM paper + CFAI mock PM):

AM: 77%

PM: 83%

Going to go over all past exams I’ve done and do as many ethics questions as possible over the next few days. Almost there everybody keep pounding!

Finally finished the mocks.

Average CFAI AM 2007 - 2011: 76%

Average Schweser AM+PM (6): 78%

Average CFAI 2012/2013 AM+PM: 81%

CFAI 2014 PMs: 75 - 87%

CFAI exam scores are slightly inflated due to the overlapping questions. I tried to be fair grading the AM sections.
