So they talked about how many predictions he got right… how many did he get wrong? Is he writing a book?

Great, so is this basically the 2nd dark ages scenario we talked about awhile back.

As importantly, when did he make the predictions? What is the proof? Are they public record? Without timeframes for the predictions, without predicting them before anybody else, without proof, his prognostications are worthless.

Ragardless of his qualifications, what he says here is so very true: “America’s going to go through a transition the likes of which no one is prepared for,” said Celente, noting that people’s refusal to acknowledge that America was even in a recession highlights how big a problem denial is in being ready for the true scale of the crisis.

So what? Any person with a set of eyes, ears, and at least 1 brain cell between them can see that America is changing. What does that have to do with his ridiculous prognostication about revolution?

The biggest issue is what happens to all the elderly people who have lost pretty much everything in their retirment accounts? What do they do? Where do they go?

AARP fire the first shots of the revolution. They’ll storm DC like the beaches of Normandy.

The denial he observes is important for two big reasons I can think of, it 1) prevents the society from preparing since there is this “it will never happen to us” mentality, and it 2) fuels the fire (sure we can handle some more government debt, personal debt, etc).

One thing though, he says the dollar will be devalued by as much as 90%. If that happens, the rest of the world is up a shit creek, along with us. So it won’t just be an American problem, it will be a GLOBAL PANDEMIC!

BS! Who buys this S H I T

I agree that there could be a tax “revolution” for lack of a better word. Taxes are going to be raised by federal, state, and local governments to make up for budget shortfalls. As taxes are raised, it will be harder for the country to pull itself back up, and as the economy continues to suffer, there will be greater budgetary shortfalls and calls by many to raise taxes further. Maybe in 3 to 10 years, I can see people taking to the streets demanding relief.

A moderately insane lady was just telling me about infowars.com as she drove me to the airport.

Also, how is his call on the dollar going? Oh not well? (note: I’m for a weak dollar, but predictions are like assholes…)
