I got banned.
There were many times during my first couple years where I couldn’t believe I didn’t get banned. Still not sure how that happened.
It was an IP ban too at first I think, so a lot of people couldn’t just get a new name. I believe there was a mass bloodshed event before I showed up where a bunch of regulars engaged in a revolt, were banned, and started their own strange little forum that exists in some skeletal format today. These young whipper snappers don’t know how good they have it. We should have someone like Bchad chronical the events on a wikipedia timeline article about AF.

That’s actually a great point in time to call an end to the tough AF. Before qqqbee people got banned, after, not so much.

After attending an inner city public high school, I took a break before attending community college. Due to certain “things” in my background, I wasn’t eligible for financial aid. I worked two jobs and paid my way through community college. Daddy was already dead and mommy couldn’t help pay. I worked and paid my way through college hommie. Then I went to an ALL black institution for graduate school. No one ever gave me any F*cking hand out. I also studied and passed CPA exam! No affirmative action on CPA exam.
But I am not the type that would turn his back on his own. Too many of my hommies didn’t make it. Two died before 20 and some, including me, spent time in the county jail. Many don’t have the resources available to them as those available to white kids. I’m not only talking about money. I’m talking about family networks, credit, etc. Let me give you an example. You need 3 CPAs to write you a character letter of recommendation before you become a CPA. You know how hard it was for me to find 3 CPAs willing to write me such letter? You think there are tons of CPAs living in my neighborhood? You think I can call on uncle Tyron to write me a letter?
Let me tell you why I’m mad son. After working under my boss, who is a CPA, for over a year, I asked her to write me a letter of recommendation. She said she could only give me work reference and not a character reference because she doesn’t have intimate knowledge about my activates outside of work. What the fuck could I be doing outside of work. dope dealer? gangster? She is from south carolina.

In any case, Stormy you didn’t suffer through 400 years of slavery and Jim Crow. Your ancestors, may have, but that isn’t certain either. Did Barry Obama deserve affirmative action? The US never enslaved him or his Kenyan relatives? Barry Obama was a half white kid raised by fairly well to do white people. He never needed a leg up. But that’s who affirmative action helps.
Affirmative Action sucks because it doesn’t help real black people. If I were black, I’d be pissed about this. The kids on “The Wire” never got any affirmative action. You know who did? Every single wealthy black kid that went to my super expensive New England prep school. I played FB in highschool. The tailback on my team got to go to Yale with a 3.2 and 1300 SAT. He wasn’t good enough to play sports there. His dad was one of the wealthiest people I’ve ever met. Lived in a mansion with a much younger white blonde wife. Total pimp. So Affirmative Action has been great at allowing wealthy white people, like me, feel like we are not racists and given us a great excuse to ignore the plight of your black ass. It’s also allowed the top echelon of black people to stay on top and live in white neighborhoods far away from real black people.
Yeah, I believe you never got a hand out. That’s cause affirmative action doesn’t help black people. If it did I might actually be in favor of it.
