Pretty much forgot about the exam and my performance as of now.
And around 80% of the curriculum. Gotta love working memory cramming.

Haha. Cramming worked for me in levels 1 and 2.
I didn’t even attempt to look at the first question the second I saw what topic it was. Went right to #2. I still sat there with a blank, mini-panic attack and couldn’t for the life of me read simple English. Eventually it passed and I got a nice flow going. I did the first question last. Didn’t seem as bad going into it with good momentum but who knows, it was still pretty tricky.
I’m also pretty sure I may have “stated” on a question that asked to “justify”. That kept me up the first Sunday after the exam. Pretty sure that’s zero credit, but what can ya do. Ahhh what a loser.
I did the same thing as you. I wouldnt worry about it to much. The first question threw alot of people off. My time was better spent picking up the low lying fruit rather than waste it on one question.

The only thing that was tricky about Q1 is part A, all other parts were plain and simple. And even part A needed no more skills than a 3rd year finance student to solve. I think it was confusing because it was simpler than we all expected from a return requirement question lol… It was more like f*** what you learned, use your brain!
Now I’m worried about the question you guys are talking about… All seemed pretty straight forward I thought
After 2weeks passed and letting my anxiety settled , i think the am is on par with previous exam difficulties ( few surprises on the rarely seen topics but it s always like that ). For Pm, i still ,until this day, get a chill on my spine. But i must say that i felt exactly the same way last year and it turned out that i got almost80% correct in the pm session( using method of40/60/80 calculation) i was poorly prepared last year so band 8 was already a blessing. This year i am better prepared for the am so hopefully i can pull off the pm well like last year then. All in: very borderline confident
Exactly, when I passed level 1 & 2 I knew I passed. This time I feel like it could go either way. The more I think about it the more mistakes I’m sure I’ve made, silly mistakes. All I have is hope that I’ve done enough… a long 8 weeks it will be indeed.
very close to my story. i think they asked tricky questions first in both am and pm sessions to test the timing ability of students. i probably spent only one minute on the first vignette before deciding that it will take longer than needed for me to understand the questions so i started from the second. and gave it a shot after i was finished with all other questions. i still spent half an hour to 45 minutes on it with no proper answer. but at least i tried.
for the pm session’s first question. that also looked so strange and undoable when i skimmed through the story. i again skipped it and the second time i tried reading it it seemed more clear and easier. so it turned out to be not as bad as it felt initially.
to someone with no proper preparation, these may have caused a panic. i am pretty sure it did not much affect those with sound preparation which will define the border between passers and failures.
