Some here are overestimating the average man. Being able to maintain a fun and flirty conversation, dressing well, being groomed, holding a job and being above average in height is enough to get you in the top 20% nowadays. I’ve noticed that at least half the men out there are too shy to initiate anything and the ones that do get into boring topics for the most part. They treat it like an interview and it’s ugly to see. Being in the top 20% isn’t much of an accomplishment especially if you’re getting laid by average looking women.
Like I’ve mentioned in the past, too many boys are being raised by single moms that encourage their daughters to be independent and strong and raise their sons to become oversensitive and the polar opposite of the men they procreated with. The result of all this is a generation of boys with no identity that get scammed by pick up artists who make a great living giving crappy advice at their expense.
Just last week a single mom at work was telling me how men don’t open up enough and how she raises her boy to be more in tune with his feelings and show his sensitive side more often because that is what being “human” is all about. She then had the decency to look at me straight in the face and ask me why her son’s classmates bullied and teased him after her son cried at the end of a romantic play.

You will have to compensate in other areas.
At the end of the day, the vast majority of women prefer a man than is taller than she is when in heels. The shorter you are the less options you have.
BTW, many tall chicks hate on short chicks that date tall men.
