Top MBA programs have ~9%-11% acceptance rate, similar to that of West Point Academy, and I know some Ph.D. programs that accept about 2%-4% of applicants. Have you ever heard about a program (grad or undergrad) with even a lower acceptance rate?

I would take some issue with the language being used here: “competitive” is not the same as “selective”. Simply because you have a ton of applicants you reject does not mean those you accept are all that great.

Its not really a program, but the Mega Society is the most selective group I have heard about (people with over a 174 IQ). In general, I have heard Harvard Med is pretty hard for mainstream programs to gain admission (~3% maybe?) Mega Society: The Mega Society is an organization of people who have scored at the one-in-a-million level on a test of general intelligence which is credibly claimed by its authors to be able to discriminate at this level.
