This thread came to my mind at work today. The amount of times someone at work uses ex post information to evaluate a decision is just mindboggling. We even have this post-mortem process, where we disect decisions leading to a significant loss. It’s supposed to be fair and objective but in essence it’s just looking at the decisions with the benefit of hindsight.
lol i had 5 puts today that made 10k. i was down 5k initially from buying puts the previous month.
day prior i told someone how much i regret it. but i couldnt help myself. cheap premiums, all time highs. it begged me to do it.
anybody with half a brain knows though. dont time the market with cash. and dont pay to short the market.
