How come no one talks about this trash? Did I miss the boat? People love talking about housewives bull, but this is the funniest show (beside 30 Rock which is clearly the best TV show ever).

I have to agree with the former trader, Seinfeld is on top of the list, then nothing for a very long time and then the rest. How I Met Your Mother was good in the beginning but they jumped the shark many seasons ago.

We all seem to be forgetting “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and “Roseanne”
Although the antithesis to Roseanne, “Home Improvement” was classically funny.
The first four seasons of the The Office tied with Seinfeld, all others mentioned are funny but cheezy sitcom funny.
How about just narrow down to shows that are currently running?
I want some suggestions, i am kind of sick of watching Dexter, Breaking Bad type of shows… i need some light hearted shows that don’t give me nightmares at night!!!
I’ve never watched it, but I hear Modern Family is one of the best shows to come out on TV in several years. My wife is also really into Glee.
i think Modern Family is a bit overrated…
I watched season 1 and it’s supposed to be the best, i’ve heard later seasons are not as good (thus not getting awards).
It’s okay but it’s not crazy funny because it looks very staged and i think the characters are very stereotypical… very “done” concept.
Can’t help much with current shows. I enjoy The Big Bang Theory now and then, but pretty much just sports, news and HGTV for me anymore.
Sitcoms are dead. Cartoons are pretty much all there is for TV humor. The Jerry Seinfeld’s of today have podcasts and HBO specials. Funny movies still come out occasionally, but I really think most of the humor today is transmitted via the worldwideweb.
