Yes, Clinton is a lawyer but from what i’ve read, a fairly poor one who hasnt practiced in a while. Trump would delegate and hire the best. This goes beyond the point tho, she isn’t willing to put herself out there or go beyond the status quo.
PA, the US has had strong leaders in the past who have been limited due to the structural foundation setup with checks and balances. With clinton the american dichomy will continue to dislocate. With trump you know what you are getting, he speaks honestly -a turnoff for most. Clinton speaks but her true ambition/ties are hidden left only to be discussed behind closed doors.
As for the status of our country, i would be more concerned with your own, canada is in some dire ish right now. Solve your own problems before commenting on solutions here.
personal choice i suppose… A choice i certainly would never make nor a character i would seek advice from.
Back to the original topic, the US remains one of the top choices to reside for the structural vales in place. I see a post on libertarianism, one of which i totally side towards and -in fact - sided with when ron paul was running. Yet, I think that direction needs to be a secondary step - the direct step would be an outsider becoming president. Left with two options, HRC or DT, i would much prefer DT. I appreciate your concern regarding the direction of the US but your concerns should be directed elsewhere.
Trump is basically Alexis Tsiperas (phase 1) + Kim Jong Ill (phase 2).
Phase 1 – The Greek people yell “this really sucks!” Tsiperas-Trump says “this really sucks right?!”. The people “OMG, you read our mind!”. They elect him. But oops he has no plan, and can’t do anything against the German bankers (China).
Phase 2 – But once he’s in office he becomes Kim Jong Ill; making decisions for personal gain at the expense of everyone. Action #1 in 2017 will be to plan a war or financial collapse which peaks around 2020, so that he can stay in office to “solve the problems” (notice how problems get worse but never better). When he exists in 2024 (if you are ever able to get him out), everything will be much worse.
There’s really no up scenario with a no-plan self-serving dictator, but that won’t stop humans from replaying history.
This is a common approach i see used far more often than it should, i ask, does assassinating one’s character based on linkages to other villians ever work?
You’re quasi correct in a sense that we may very well experience a decline in the financial markets, yet that will be the product of increased government spending and lack of revenue to account for it coupled with central banking intervention, not his proposed plans of cutting the funds spent on foreign wars.
Again, i do not line up with all his values but based on my desires, he is a better suitor to bring forth the ideals that I want established in the US government. You must understand, he has the power currently to fund HRC and essentially sit in the sidelines and have his every wish come true if he wanted to. Your thought process is simple.
It’s a valid point though, that Trump has little incentive to follow through on his campaign promises, or to do a good job for the country at all, since he has no party affiliation and is probably disinterested in future participation in politics.
Right, this a key factor that lets us forecast outcomes based on intentions.
Clinton has “the Clinton’s” reputation to protect, Bill is loved, and she is a career politician with her own rep. She is NOT going to take wild risks, start a war, build a wall, etc. Trump however doesn’t care about reputation, obviously. In fact he seems to love negative rep and wild risk taking, he doesn’t care when things go wrong, he just walks away.
It’s all about risk/reward profiles, these two people are very different! Limited downside with one, unlimited downside with the other. No upside with either.
Trump will just try to take care of his business. He cannot stop about how smart or rich or successful he is. Always talking about how he is a 1) a family man, 2) know what being in tough situation is and 3) he represents the working americans.
He cheated on his 1st wife with his future wife number 2. Melania is wife number 3. Has 5 kids from 3 wives. Lol must be some interesting times during Thanksgiving lol…“Dad do you remember when mom number 1…”
Grew up in Upper East Side, went to UPenn and was given a big chunk of his dad’s real estate portfolio which owned many prominent properties in NYC in the 60s. You could just sit on those properties and your net worth would hit the moon…
He doesn’t look like a blue collar to me…private jet, helicopter, etc…So he represents something he is certainly not. makes sense.
He is entertaining though. I will give you that. President of the USA? nah i will pass.
On the other hand, if you believe that the President is largely ineffectual in policy due to the separation of power, perhaps it would be beneficial to elect Trump for the entertainment value. Although the choice of Trump or Hillary in policy is divided, it is uncontroversial to say that Trump is far more entertaining to watch on TV and will thus contribute greatly to the utility of citizens.
You see, I live with not only a foreigner, but also one with a PhD and she talks just like this butis starting to come around because I am able to show her the light. Bill is not loved - a lot of his policies including GLB act - where terrible mistakes. Not to mention the guy lied under oath. Who was that talked about Trump cheating…
Hilliary deleted emails and, under normal circumstances, would be facing jail time. The problem is it is uncool to acknowledge that trump is the lesser of the two evils because of his manerisms and over method of communcation. If trump looked, and spoke, like Rubio he would be killing the polls.
Oh I for sure don’t believe that, and besides that’s just playing Russian roulette. Trump has said in plain language he will do things that are not allowed by law. When asked “how?”, he says “people do what I say, trust me, they will do what I tell them to do”. He’s a dictator, experienced in intimidation and manipulation. I believe him.
