If you’ve ever been to a strip club in eastern europe (Russia, the Ukraine, Czech Republic) then you’ll never feel like going to a strip club in the US again. Except for maybe just another place to drink with your buddies.

Drinking Age is 21. This is a double edged sword. It keeps out a lot of young idiots, but also a lot of hot impressionable chicks. You go out in Stockholm and the place is littered with 18-20 = year olds that would love to meet a guy in late 20’s with his head on his shoulders straight. Whereas, in the US if you’re a single girl over the age of 24 and you’re at a bar, then you’re probably damaged goods. Face it, most of the hot chicks lock it in while still in college. So by the time you are on the urban bar scene you are already dealing with idiots. My buddy who’s an asset manager picked up a hot chick in Vegas. She turned out to be a parole officer? WTF?

The girls are big boned. While the rest of the world is catching up (and fast, I’ll add) your odds of finding a girl with a decent face, good body, and without some sort of Diva Kim K complex are thin in the US. Is it too much to expect a decent looking chick who weighs less than I do, who isn’t a nutcase? I don’t think so.

If you get in trouble - the trouble follows you. You get arrested, you get a married, you get a girl pregnant, you do something worth being sued, whatever it is, if you do it in the United States you will be prosecuted or attacked over it. I know whatever happens in Vegas “stays in vegas” but that aint true. Tell that to your next employer when he asks you why you left your arrest for public drunkenness off your job application. “It happened in Vegas!” Whereas you do this outside of the US, just get on a plane, bribe the cops, or forget the whole thing happened, because there is no way your employer back home will ever know.

Tuesday night or Saturday night:
(either when you get in or leave), go check out ghostbar for an hour. It’s got a great outdoor view of the strip from like the 60’th floor and is defitely worth seeing.
Wednesday:
Check out shopping at Crystals
Also, check out the Fountains at Bellagio
In the evening around 9-10, check out Blue Martini at Town Square, it’s a great locals bar with some outdoor seating, very fun.
Thursday:
Spend some time hanging out poolside at the hotel.
Ride the roller coaster at New York, New York
At night, go to TAO night club around 10.
Friday:
Poolside again.
Check out Spiramint Rhino (strip club) at some point, go to XS night club around 9:30
Also, you mentioned the Grand Canyon… driving would be a waste of a day in Vegas, but you can spring for a helicopter tour and they fly you to the GC from Vegas and it’s super fun.

I think I’ve done 8 in a weekend in Thailand. Minus the pro’s its probably around 50? I think I did around 20 non-pro’s in one semester studying abroad in Eastern Europe. If you only count american chicks and do not count BJ’s it’s probably only like 10 - stupid Aids propoganda ruined sex in the 90’s for everybody. If you only count hot thin marriage material american chicks its only 3.
So, yep, you can see why I don’t like American chicks very much. I think the last new one I slept with was my senior year of college, right before I left the US. The last one I dated was sophmore year. So yep, you’re over/under would be pretty good if I had never left the US and didn’t bang every single eastern european exchange student I went to college with.

Hey BS - came back from Vegas on Sunday. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever made. Thanks again for your recommendations. I was able to do most of things you mentioned - Aria was amazing. Grand Canyon - we took a helicopter tour to the Skywalk and it was great. To me, it was worth it.
My brother and I went to XS on Sat night. But man - the cover was $100…$100 to just get in and we are told that we would need to wait a little more than an hour. We ended up just drinking more in Aria…

Yeah, that is pretty steep, I have friends that used to manage at a couple of the prominent hotels there so they usually call around and get us hooked up for XS. Even without that if you have a group of 5 what we do is get like two bottltes reserved in advance. Which works out to maybe 150-200 a peice but means you get right in (no cover then), get your own table and also two bottles worth of booze, which if you figure $10-20 per drink at the bar works out to be a pretty good deal. With two people it’s a litte more harder.
Even though it sounds like you didn’t wind up doing Aria, overall seems like a great trip, glad you had fun. What stuff did you wind up doing besides Aria and the grand canyon?
If I knew that a cover was $100 in advance, I would have gone, though I would have a few more drinks before I get there.It was just that its website said $30, but it was rather $100 when we actually got there. Drinks were pretty expensive over there, so I bought some beers from CVS and was drinking on our way to get to bars/restaurants.
In addition to Aria and GC, we spent a lot of time at pool in Aria, fountain show at Bellagio (was awesome!), Krystal and Fashion show, beffett at Cosomopoiltan, and many bars/restaurants. We enjoyed much walking and drinking on the strip and cheking out other hotels and taking pictures. And we also watched The Beatlese Love, Circue du Soleil, which was fantastic. Oh, we also visited In-N-Out and found them ok compared to five guys and ray’s hell burger.
One thing I didn’t like much at Aria was that we had to pay $25 per day for internet and gym…But still very inexpensive compared to the quality of the hotel.
Damn. $100 for XS? That’s ridiculous. Glad you had a blast though. Can’t wait to go at the end of the month.
