Just a little bit curious. What would you get in term of % if you failed with a band score of let’s say 8 and 9?
Guy that runs 300hours.com did an analysis on this a few years back and came up with the separation from each band to be anywhere from 3-6 questions. Since MPS is Between 64-68% (or thought to be through estimation), we could believe based on this assumption the following:
Pass: 64-68% raw score
Band 10 minimum: 61.5%-65.5%
Band 9 minimum: 59%-63%
Band 8 minimum: 56.5%-60.5%
Again, obviously CFAI only truly knows and takes a pretty thorough approach to grading but hope this helps!
