^ Shocking that Americans would take individual examples to the contrary as proof a larger pattern does not exist. Remember, it’s an intelligence thread.
The big blocker Americans have which prevents them from seeing the obvious pattern – admitting the answer is banning guns, means turning off the gun factories, but Americans value corporate profits and increasing GDP above all else. Even if everyone is dying from mass shootings and diabetes, they aren’t EVER going to turn off the gun and coke factories. Those options have been removed from the table, and since they were the best answers, the problems can never be solved. From there it’s just impractical “well, maybe if we give all the monkeys therapy and put them on drugs…”, no it won’t work.
The individual citizens, whose subconscious minds are under corporate influence, immediately start creating “logic” and “stats” to find a different answer, one that protects corporate profits – “well what if we have even MORE guns, maybe THAT is the answer”. ^ Cultural pattern recognition.
Let him continue. He’s right after all…America has always just sat in awe of the rest of the world when it comes to inovation and intelligence. Maybe one day, just one day, we’ll figure out how to make our shores desirable. Maybe one day more immigrants will come to America than the rest of the world combined. Maybe one day we’ll be a player on the world scene. Maybe one day. Until then, we can hope the likes of PA will drag us along by their sweat and tears. For where would the world, or even AF, be without people like him…
“America has always just sat in awe of the rest of the world when it comes to inovation and intelligence.” from Ghibli.
well we got companies like apple, alphabet, IBM, msft, boeing, lockheed to F35, F22 to new class of super carriers that no other nation can touch, to new weapons systems to radars, missile defense systems. These are being sold with restrictions to so called other super powers of the world like Japan, France, UK, Australia, Germany, etc…Intelligence…we have the best ranked schools in the world and the brightest students from all over the world make the journey to american universities. Upon graduating most of these bright minds with masters and Phds stay in the US employed by the said companies based in the US.
awe of what? You walk the streets of Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, Moscow, Toronto, and you see young and old in american brand jeans, in american brand shoes texting their friends on iphone while listening to american artists on their beats headphones while the other friend is busy tagging his facebook friends on a youtube video.
Denial is at the heart of a many American problems; if people are in denial it’s impossible for them to solve the problem, if other nations already solved it but one believes those other nations are inferior, then their solution is denied. Deny the problem, deny the solution, is that smart??
