I’m not prepared to dish out all the details on demand to the demonstrably mature peanut gallery here. But suffice it to say that the people who see us together are not saying ewww.
I would consider myself a bit old for the daughter today, but there have definitely been far stranger age-pairings, and the truth is that you can’t tell how old someone is when you meet them, which is why I might have chatted her up, and she might well have responded.
Beyond this something is fishy here. Why would any self respecting 23 year old go to Saudi for 2 months? Unless your dad worked in Aramco or something.
I mean i’m all for going to exotic places but there is really zilch Saudi has to offer.
Hmmm, Aramco jobs tend to be highly competitive with people from all over the world vying for them. More often than not they tend to prefer people with a minimum amount of experince especially for those directly on the refineries which it seems hard to believe a 23 year old would meet unless you meant you were working for Aramco’s subsidiaries.
Anyway if you really did manage to land a job in Aramco at 23 then the mother-daughter combo is highly believable.
Congratulations on making it at such a young age. You is the dog’s bollocks.
I was involved with the development of oil fields. I believe their refining operations are still small fry compared to their oil production. Most valuable company in the World. Makes ExxonMobil look tiny, but certainly not in know how. Anyway, I don’t think they care how old you are. Seems they actually like young guys with young families. I don’t know. Things change. Competitive is relative. I know some technical specialist that made Aramco beg. 3k a day plus expenses. No, sorry, not good enough. Ok, what will it take? 3.5K, six month bump, plus first class, not business. Ok, sounds good. You may be right when it comes to the more permanent staff positions. My exposure is dated.
As much as I am curious to meet some of AF members in real life, I honestly don’t think it’s a good idea. I appreciate the anonymity of this forum and wouldn’t want to lose the ability to talk freely on here.
