People who are rolling in money often don’t have much incentive to grow up. Everything seems to be working for them, so why change. Or rather, they grow up in the money management sense, but have no real reason to think much about anything else, other than “how to get more.”
Well for me the key was to get married to a woman that is intelligent and fun whom I respect. Also, she’s out of my league in the appearance department, which helps me be satisfied with where I’m at. But even if I wasn’t married, I just don’t really feel the need to base my worth off of what anybody else is doing. Up until around 21 that was definitely not true.
Ok I’m not actually forced to associate with them. I’m forced to associate with them if I want to be part of a community of people taking the CFA tests. Or at least, this community of people taking the CFA tests.
