Agree. Nationalism may deviate to National-socialism (Nazism) in extreme form but usually is related to patriotism and self-defense of a country, a nation and an identity. Other nations should be respected as long as they don’t jeopardize yours.

I’m a big history buff. General lee is actually a very noble honorable person who fought against great odds. They were the underdog that kept winning. They lost because the union had better economics and more manpower. As for owning slaves and defending slavery, at that time it was still a part of American culture. He was essentially defending the way of life for his state despite odds stacked against him. He stuck with his roots so he has my props
Having said that I don’t think the confederate flag should be allowed. It’s a symbol of rebellion and secession, and people who promote these ideas should be put in jail for treason.
