Are you there to compete?

Are you there to compete?

Well… no… but i would not want to be smashed in the face either!

^

yea fk,volleyball scares the shit out of me.

can it really be this hard to meet someone in the west?why don’t you say hi when you see someone interesting?

Drinking, spreadsheets, M&Ain’ on the Buyside

And that’s why single ladies need to go online!

I was complementing you and didn’t mean to insinuate that you are desperate. If you dont want to take my advice on the martial arts class (maybe an intro to MT), try and join a NFL draft its not to late.

Hmm…i am not sure about martial arts…

I do have girl friends who did kickboxing for a while (to lose weight) and it’s an all girls class, like 6-8 girls to one male trainer… the ratio is not great!

Somehow there’s no cfa japanese men on this forum for u.

haha, i’m not talking about a cardio kickboxing class but a true muay thai gym or mma gym. Trust me on this one, people love to teach other people new stuff especially those who are receptive. They say you gotta step out of your comfort zone right? Speaking of such, what is the usual structure of a painting class?

Let them teach you how to play. Guys LOVE teaching!

How to meet guys:

At your painting class begin serving as a nude model. That’s how my friend in college met her husband.

i would NOT want to date another CFA… honestly, i know i should never say never, but i highly unlikely to date another person in finance.

I know guys love teaching, but there must be things i actually enjoy doing as well…?

Although i have to say, volleyball outfits are quite cute

What’s wrong with CFA/finance guys?

That’s right. You need to actually enjoy the activity - joining something just to pick up a guy is phony imo.

Too mercenary. Evaluate everything in terms of NPV.

Not all of them. But I agree that it’s a huge turn off if I hear finance references like that.

i don’t even want to talk about my jobs when i’m off, why do i want to listen to the same things at home?

I think i am more attracted to guys who are opposite from me, think differently with different perspectives to share.

I find business school guys all think somewhat alike and they are not intriguing to me, that’s all!

Those on wall street should marry hippies.
