I’ll be doing the AM tomorrow before work and all this talk is making it so hard not to look at what it is that’s giving people so much trouble. I’ll refrain for just a little while longer…
feeling quite a bit less confident after a 63% on schweser book 2 exam 1. got a solid 75% on book 1 exam 3 and some high 80s scores on the cfa mocks so i was thinking it would be >70% scores from this point on.
The morning paper was ok but the afternoon session was really tough, felt like proper CFA type multiple choice questions where you need to know multiple things to get the point. 69% average score online though.
Schweser live mock tomorrow, think it might be a blood bath. 7 practice tests down and i’m yet to break 70% on a morning paper.
Can’t stress too much - Book 2 just has that “something else” that Book 1 lacks and most people agree. In fact, several people on here have already commented on the trouble they’re having in Book 2 vs. 1.
Thx for the comments on Schweser Book 2 as I started with it and was disappointed with scores of 65%…
I skipped Book 2, Test #1 (AM) because of what people on here were saying. Book 2, Test #2 (AM) crushed me, so it isn’t just you.
Anyone else finding the various Volume 2 tests hard?
I’ve done all of book one and exam one book two.
I feel that they’ve all been of comparable difficulty.

Nice work! I’ve been discounting my essay scores as I’m not sure if I’m too generous, or too harsh in my self grading.
Ya, I try my best to be conservative too. But there are definitely times where I know my answer is correct, it’s just not listed in one of the model bullets so I give myself half credit.
Sounds like confidence bias to me! You might want to seek alternate opinions or sources which conflict with your opinion

If it makes you feel better I averaged 10% less on this afternoon session than my average…
Over the last 10 days, I’ve scored 66-68 on my last 6 halves of practice tests. (Schweser vol 1 test 3 AM & PM; CFAI 2011 and 2012, CFAI PM mock A and B).
Can’t seem to crack the 70 mark …(I’m jealous of those of you that are getting 70s+!..seems like its quite a few folks)
I’m pretty weak in dervitives and currency related areas. Trying to balance learning those, vs reviewing the rest of the material.
I feel like I’ll be band 9, 10, or 11. Gotta keep going…

I hope I’m not the only one scoring a consistent 10% lower on my AM exams. I’ve been hitting 70-75% in PMs, 60-65% for AMs. I found Volume 2 harder because of obscure topics.
schweser book 2 is always more confusing i tried it for L1 but found it way too confusing and a waste of time
