This was allot harder than the AM for me, total is 76.666% Anyone else having trouble with PM like me. I caught the trick question about Fama French & Pastor Stambaugh, that is pretty nasty how they set that up if you ask me.
Just finished Book 1 Exam 2AM and scored a 72%. Taking PM session on Sunday so I can get the CFAI mock out of the way on Saturday.
Vol 2, exam 1 am got a 71.67%. Ok.
Past Results: Schweser 1AM Mock - 78% Wrote 1PM today and scored 77% Surprised I scored so well on the Swaps item set. I was shocked w/ my poor performance on the Corp Finance and Portfolio Management item sets. I thought I knew Int Inv, TNOCF, and OCF cold. Guess not. I will say I think Schweser’s exams are a little wordy compared to what we will see on exam day. I remember their Level I Mocks being extremely wordy compared to the actual exam.
Book 1 1AM 78% 1PM 82% 2AM 63% 2PM 73% 3AM 78% Last year my results for the practice exams were 63,62 58,68 57 respectively and I ended up being a band 9 fail. Also, I went back and checked and almost all the questions in Book 1 are the same as last year.
Took Schweser Book 6 # 2 this morning/afternoon Scores: Exam 1 AM: 55/60 - 91.67% Exam 1 PM: 48/60 - 80.00% Exam 2 AM: 46/60 - 76.67% Exam 2 PM: 49/60 - 81.67% Exam 3 AM: Exam 3 PM: CFA Sample 1: CFA Sample 2: CFA Sample 3: CFA Mock AM: CFA Mock PM: Schweser Mock:
Scored 80 and 82% on the AM and PM sections of the exam (Book 1 exam 3), but felt like I scored a 50. Not sure how I should feel about this.
Just took Exam 2 PM from Book 1 and scored a 72%. I got a whole host of questions wrong dsince did not read the item sets in its entirety. Got hammered in the vignettes relating to SS#7 (Analyst Adjustments) and SS#18 (International Currency). I’m definitely going to review these two sections tomorrow.
Edited. Wrong thread sorry.
Book 1: Exam 3 AM : 73.33 Exam 3 PM: 80
Book1: E1 AM: 78.3 E1 PM: 91.7 E2 AM: 80 E2 PM: 78.3 E3 AM: 71.7 E3 PM: 81.7 Book2: E1 AM: 86.7 E1 PM: 75 E2 AM: 83.3 E2 PM: 76.7 E3 AM: 81.7 E3 PM: 78.3 this is not adjusted for stupid mistakes (least/most likely,…) done at work (you know …) during last two weeks I did CFAI sample 1 1.5 month ago with 61 pct result (felt like I know nothing), spent 1month reviewing and did those SS exams afterwards I did CFAI sample 2 today 86 pct, I felt much better than with sample 1. It is time to do review again plus EOCqs again, Mocks later this week or early next week.
pfcfaataf, very impressive. Sounds like you can pass this thing in your sleep.
well I am not optimistic at all, there are still holes that I fill in and new holes appear next day. I dont know (in person) anybody who passed LII for the first time (a friend of mine told me: “I have 4 levels of CFA, I did LII twice”). At the beginning fo my preparation I told myself that I have two years to pass LII. If I dont pass this year, at least I can be happy that I am in the middle of LII already. there are too many retakers that know and probably knew last year the curriculum very well and they failed last year anyway. on top of that, the standard deviation of my results is too high compared to my preparation for LI good luck
Just got a 75% on Bk 2 Exam 1 PM section. Averaging a 75%.
Past Results: 1AM Mock - 78% 1PM Mock - 77% 2AM - 72% 2PM - 63%… ouch, definitely not trending in the right direction
I just got a 72% in the Book1 , Exam 1 Morning. Looking by the scores here…a lot of people are getting in the 80’s. Doesnt look like low 70’s on the schweser mock is going to cut it…
I got a 75% on Schweser Book 1, Exam 1 AM… The test seemed too easy and going by posts here a lot of people thought the same. I have time only to do about two or three more exams (4 to 6 sessions) and have both volumes of Schweser and the free CFAI exam. Any recommendations on which ones I should do to get the most bang for the buck?

It caught me off guard and is packed with a good mix of Ethics, FRA, Equity, and Corp Finance. Probably too heavy in econ (2 item sets), but if you’re weak there, it will be worth the time.
Thanks dhwit. How about Volume 2 exams?
Just completed Book 1 Exam 3 with the following results: AM: 73 PM: 58 PM section had a lot of material not covered in Stalla. This is making me nervous. I’ve always thought Stalla had prepared me enough to perform well on the exam, but I was slammed in multiple item sets.
