Mind sharing which item sets/topics stood out the most? I’m a Stalla only user for the most part and I’m not sure if I’ll get to 3PM as I have the CFAi mock set for this Saturday.

I’m becoming increasingly convinced that you guys are the smartest people in the world.

Cmon Kev, its 80%+ on practice tests or BUST  A couple things: 1. Self reporting bias: People who kick ass are more likely to report 2. Inconsistent sample of reporting test takers: Retakers and newbies, retakers will skew the results if you are a newbie

I’m a retaker, like most here. And yes, only the people that are scoring 70%+ will report. That said, I just got a 70% on Volume 2 Exam 2 AM. Getting tougher, but still averaging a 74-75%. Happy thus far.

Allow me to buck the self-reporting trend. From last weekend… Schweser Book 1, exam 2: AM: 62% PM: 68% Felt much better with the PM section, but 68% still isn’t where I need to be. I have been hammering out questions for the past three days in my weakest areas and feel relieved - things that I couldn’t for the life of me remember when in front of the mock came rushing back to me after I worked a few problems. Case in point: I almost put my fist through the wall trying to remember how to adjust discount rate for the %age chance of failure in a private equity investment when in front of the mock. 3 or 4 Qbank problems later, I’ve got it and suddenly the rest of the private equity reading is coming back into focus as well… Keep the reporting coming, I’m curious to hear how the rest of y’all are doing.

just did the AM part of online mock: 77 % (46/60) very skewed performance Ethics 0/6 (zero correct) QM 4/6 PM 4/6 the rest is ok PM tomorrow

How many answers, on average, do you guys/girls think you GUESS on the Schweser practice exams because I tend to guess a LOT, usually eliminate 1 glaringly obvious incorrect answer and then it’s 50/50 between the other 2 that’s left. Just curious…

Im almost done with book2… Since book 1 been getting a pretty consistent 70 to 75%… and … I’m pretty frustrated. Especially on the ones I get wrong, I know the concept and I know how to do it… but I’m getting trapped or messed up on little things (or maybe they are the big things) like… finding the growth rate or using the right discount rate. Or like in book 2, 3am… the way they calculated book value for the RI… I was like… o_O !!! I’m a retaker as well… and things were the problems I had on the test …argh!!!

Book 1 Exam 2 AM: 63 PM: 73 I got a 1/6 on the first (FI) question. I’m still guessing on quite a few questions, but I don’t see that changing too much. I’m starting to come to the conclusion that if I come to a question that I’m <75% sure of the answer, I should just follow this three step process: 1) Knock off the obviously wrong answer 2) Figure out which of the two remaining answers I can reason to be correct 3) Choose the other one

JUDGE ME!!! should I feel confident, scared? Always scared, but you understand. Whats the deal? exam 1am - 65% exam 1pm - 68% exam 2am - 70% exam2pm - 85% exam3am - 73% exam3pm - 76% exam4am - 80% exam4pm - 78% CFA mock am - 70% CFA mock pm - 82% BSSA mock am - 72% BSSA mock pm - 78%

You should feel resonably confident if… IF those scores include healthy FRA and Equity scores. Take it from me you have to do well on FRA and Equity to pass. My Schweser average exams 1-3 was about the same as yours and had the same average as you for the CFA mock. In the last nine days I plan on a lot of flash card reviewing and some lighter review of my exams to remind myself where/how I made stupid mistakes. I hope to be able to bump up my ability by 5%-7.5% (6-9 questions).

My bad. Last year my average on Schwesser book 1 exams 1-3 was 60%. This year 74%. Last years CFAI Mock was 62.5% this year 76%.

^^^ very helpful. thanks

Scored an 81.67% on Book 2 Practice Exam 2 PM section.

On its better days, this whole forum reminds me of every road race I have ever run or spectated in. You know when the spectators or runners who have already finished cheer you on? “MILE 12 GUYS THIS IS IT, KICK KICK KICK KICK KIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK FINISH STRONG, LET’S GO RUNNERS! WHOOOOOO! [sounds of cowbell]” Keep the scores coming! I’m here finally starting to nail down a lot of ANOVA crap and hoping I may be able to scrape an 80% or two on a mock before test day, which’d make a huge difference in my confidence.

Just got pwned on the first CFA sample exam. I fucking hate Schweser at this point. Scores: Exam 1 AM: 55/60 - 91.67% Exam 1 PM: 48/60 - 80.00% Exam 2 AM: 46/60 - 76.67% Exam 2 PM: 49/60 - 81.67% Exam 3 AM: Exam 3 PM: CFA Sample 1: 58% CFA Sample 2: CFA Mock AM: CFA Mock PM: Schweser Mock:
