FBI Investigtion = Investigation by a federal law enforcement agency run by an appointee of the current president (a democrat) and reporting to an appointee of the current president into potential criminal acts. Benghazi Commission <> FBI Investigation.
That being said, it might end up being a wild goose chase by the FBI. I don’t think the FBI just goes about investigating people willy nilly though. Being investigated does not equal being guilty though, so we’ll see what they say when they conclude their investigation.

^ Great theory, except the person running the investigation reports to someone appointed by a democrat, who reports to someone appointed by a democrat, who reports to the fuqing president who is, oh yeah, a democrat. The only way an investigation of this magnitude lasts for more than 24 hours is if the Attorney General agrees. We’re not talking about some field agent who is given some leeway by the special agent in charge to follow a hunch.
I assume the only reason there is an FBI investigation is to give hillary a pass and make it look official. Otherwise there would be immense political pressure from the Obama admin for there to be no FBI investigation.

Yeah, they definitely have to keep up appearances and do an investigation, If there were security breaches/mishandled classified info, an investigation would be warranted, regardless of political party. it doesn’t mean anything in and of itself though.

Well, Bloomberg news reporting that two republican congressman bragged that “they” had brought Clinton down in the polls with this stunt. So there you have it, they admitted it – republican trickery.

Her supporters never seem to mention the FBI investigation though. Why is that?
The FBI investigation does not automatically imply she is guilty. It is natural to conduct an investigation if the administration felt there could have been violations. Plus there is political demand for an investigation from the other side as well.

Anyone that believes holding top secret emails on your gmail account is fine has zero understanding of cybersecurity. The very simple fact is, 4chan could have easily gotten their hands on data that could have put American lives at risk. Regardless of who the idiot is that didn’t use a secure server, Repub or Dem, they’re either a moron that thinks civilian email accounts are secure, they’re hiding something, or both. Those are the only options.
How big of a deal is it? Not sure. But I do know Hillary tacitly endorsed SOPA, and anyone that supported that dumpster fire of a bill doesn’t understand 21st century technology or really the Internet in general.

Big deal or not one thing is clear - she doesn’t understand the very basic concepts of online security or privacy. If that’s a big deal to you, and it should be for everyone, then you should reconsider supporting Hillary.
I don’t think understanding online security is a prerequisite to be president. Hillary is a 70 yo govt executive, not an Internet nerd, as president, she’ll have handlers telling her what to do. Was it handled poorly? Yeah, but is it a witch hunt? There is a good chance. You think her Republican opponents are super literate on online security? This controversy isn’t about online security, but just another attack, which is normal in the world of politics.

Absolutely not. I don’t think a room full of 65 year old plus people understand the Internet at all. That’s a major problem. Look more into SOPA and what that bill almost did to online privacy. The only reason it failed is because major sites like YouTube, Wikipedia, Reddit, and (to a lesser extent) Google went dark for a day a week or so before the bill was being voted on. After congressmen got thousands and thousands of phone calls, they backed off.
The sad thing is SOPA was essentially a bipartisan bill. No one in congress saw anything wrong with it, which is amazingly scary. Old people shouldn’t be in charge of shit they don’t understand.
But I digress. When it comes to Hillary it boils down to the three options I listed above. Either she doesn’t understand cybersecurity, has something to hide, or both. There really aren’t any other options.
(Btw, once SOPA turned into a topic of “personal liberty” {which only occured to congress - literally - a couple days before the vote} the moderates on both sides of the aisle stood up and voted it down.)
